OPTION 1
::At Noriko's mansion or Black Velvet Enterprises, or Noriko's offices at Duel Academy, there is a small girl with a hard hat and a checklist. She's scribbling down notes on a clipboard. Care to bother her?::

OPTION 2
::At a cafe, you'll find a tall blonde chick with fox-like features and a sour attitude wearing glasses, typing on a laptop that looks like it was made from flesh and demonic souls. She seems fairly irritated, sipping on coffee.::

OPTION 3
::Near the Duel College or in Domino Park or Downtown, there's a biggish black cat with a mirror-like helmet and cape sitting or strolling about.::

... Is it because of your confusion on what "love" is, correct?
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose then that it is odd to you, that humans tend to take such concepts for granted.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
That is why I stated "tend".

Experiences that any of them have might cause them to disregard, shun, or ignore such a concept, because they have a negative impression upon it.

Is ignorance to the concept a common thing in your group?

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Then that would be why you are ignorant upon it. As that is your belief, I cannot question it.

What I wonder is why you are then questioning love itself, when you were taught that it's a weakness.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
... Yes, scientifically.

I am not exactly knowledgeable on the scientific aspects of emotional reactions, however.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 10:38 am (UTC)(link)
... I suppose that is very much understandable.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... unbelievable.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
... Well, first of all, what were you taught concerning it, if at all?
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... unbelievable.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
And nothing other than just "you should dismiss it"...?
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... unsure.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
... That is... Pitiable.

I would not call it "lethal", however-- my end is not a likely conclusion to people who are in love with another.

The worst I would call it is... Irrational.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... unbelievable.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
... However, that would result in more conflict, the inability to cooperate, and self-destruction.

If anything, hatred, suspicion, and distrust is more lethal and dangerous than "love" could ever be. "Love"'s main purpose, after all, is to be able to ensure a continued survival among others.

If everyone hated or were suspicious of others, humanity would have destroyed itself by now.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-27 07:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Then I doubt that there is true distrust and hatred among you.

Though, hatred and distrust is as equally illogical as love. Whereas people can make poor decisions for love, people can make poor decisions out of distrust and spite as well.
memoryistime: (Sadame - ... curious.)

[personal profile] memoryistime 2012-10-30 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... But that is just it, isn't it?

You state "show", but that doesn't mean that they are incapable of it.
