Erland likes a certain demureness, and tends to seek people who are lonely and maybe a bit awkward. It's hard to really describe it, since Erland has a pretty decent variety of girls and they don't especially match this format. Though, for convenience's sake Erland prefers girls who, while able to stand up to him if necessary, will usually default to what he says to do. He likes being the center of attention that way, I guess. Also preferably Bi. You know, for cohesion's sake.

... So is kind of an older type of guy. He likes girls and heavily respects them, but expects a point of "Listen to what I'm saying and conform". Hrm.

Gwen's angry because despite her incredibly bitchy lowbrow attitude, she's a genius. A very respectable genius in the sense she's extremely smart, things come quite naturally and easy to her. Basically she's the girl who aces the tests, the school run meet, and a talented cook. Everything is sublimely easy to her.

Which is why she's so fucking mad: She's bored to the point she's murderously angry. She can't stand things being so dull and easy and pointless. That she's a rage driven bitch.

For all Erland says about trying to be equal, he still has an ego to him, and for certain things he really wants his way. I think one issue with him wanting to tear things up is that he doesn't feel respected, which makes him think he's been too soft, which transitions to 'gotta wreck something up'.

What kind of sound does Yuzuki look for in music?

It's mostly the little things, a general sense that people think they could take him if they wanted, and the kind of treatment that comes with that mentality. Also, Akuroou taking the ring didn't help.

Incidentally, I think I have a head-canon for what happened with all that: The ring, trying to get Akuroou good and riled up, ended up abusing his body too much. It likely caused his various glands to produce more adrenaline and testosterone than they could support, and they eventually shut down, so when Akuroou felt a loss, he literally had nothing in him for a second wind. The ring, frustrated and unable to get any response from him anymore, just tried to lash out.


Yuzuki though... I think she alternates between very classical 'zen' music which she uses for meditation, and probably a rock or even rap to 'pump up' with. I could see grunge/rap being her general preference.

A friend. It's essentially a good friendly thing they have. Might be a hint of gay undertones, but I'm not sure if Adam would ever admit it.

Then again, he probably does feel jealous when Ai is around, so...

If he was forced to make a choice, would Seku go for Ai the human or Ai the demon? For both normal AND Guard.

Seku, normally? Considers Adam to be a friend-- a bit of a headache of a friend, but someone he'd never want to see go away because he's clingy like that. He seriously liked that Adam finally came back, but was still hurt by him leaving in the first place. He'd never have any romantic feelings for him though. Seku's very much into women.

Hmm... overall? I think both would go for the human-- but Guard would feel like ten times worse over it. Ai the human and Ai the demon are basically a similar situation for him and how he perceives everything, so it'd make him feel like a hypocrite no matter what.

Though on that note, how would Ai the Demon feel if she learned that Seku's currently the Guard?

Why the Guard go for the human Ai first? Is it his inherent Sekuta personality?

He'd move up rungs on her ladder. At current, she considers Sekuta a really cozy meal. Lover? Not. Really. She's more petty, self interested, and kind of a slut than Ai. But she respects a monster over some little human.

Ai the human would scream by the way and try to kill Guardkuta for being an impostor as she sobs her eyes out.

Does Sekuta prefer Ai's buxom figure or Kanna's lithe figure more?

It's part inherent, and part, well-- when you get down to it, logically, the human Ai is the real Ai by all standards. While she definitely got used to be a succubus, most of her life, she was still a human. Which is why he'd still feel terrible either way.

Funnily, Seku actually really prefers lithe figures more, but buxom isn't bad. It's cozy.

How does the Owner see Seku, since he's a pretty regular customer of his and has some personal liking on his part.

No, he wouldn't, actually. Ai started out with a more buxom figure, and it'd feel... weird, if she had anything so vastly different.

Interesting. But how does the Owner feel about the Guard? He's not exactly malevolent, but I always imagined that Asmodeus had more of a hand in Guard's creation, which is why he ended up fairly... unstable.

Seku really likes the shop! He thinks it's comfortable, really. He always finds something interesting there, and the Owner is pleasant to talk to. Even the flower Suguru's very nice.

As a note regarding Noriko, especially with her behavior. If anyone notices she tends to throw money at people rather friviously as if it will solve their problems and tends to set up people on blind dates?

Reminder: She's basically a 16 year old girl still. Teenage girls with access to a platinum credit card and friends they want help. Well. They're gonna wanna help their friends. Noriko thus considers tossing money at friends to be a sign of nice-ness and is upset when people don't let her buy a lot of things for them or make their lives easier. She can't grasp the desire for effort a lot of the time, especially when so many of her friends have may-fly lifespans compared to her.

So. Yeah.

Ai, if she remains human is going to fairly sexual repressed and hesitant to physical touch. After a half decade being trapped in the body of a Succubus and given a chance to not be like that, she well. Is running away from being sexy. At all. She'd much rather be frumpy.

Even if she's returned to being a succubus, she's going to be extremely bitter. Yuri split her when she got used to her life being like this, and having the choice, she'd rather never be a demon again.

Up until the Witches, Onee had actually become a mostly tolerable person. But the witches constantly harassing her and using her as a squeeze toy pretty much made her a bitter bitch again.

As well, she blames her recent misfortune pretty much on Noriko. Noriko's stupidity has essentially ruined her life. And god only knows what would happen if she were allowed to stew for a long time on it...

As a note here, Suzume doesn't have the mind of the Suzume of her universe. Her mind and personality was crushed by the Suzume from Shikou's original timeline who basically crossed time-space to get to her Shikou.

Also, for some reason, I see Suzume being more... childish is a word I'd use. Into things like wrestling. Playing detective. Just being more... juvenile. It could be a function the HiME festival stole most of her youth and innocence so to speak and she's making up for it. But it could also be how she handles her immortality: "I don't need to grow up so quickly".

Mind you this could cause her to be stuck as an immature brat.

As a note on Demon Ai, she's what I'd describe as a shallow charicature of Ai. With little to no personality to draw from, the demon fragments that escaped from Yuri's camera, well. Besides what of Ai that hanged on, she's essentially all the banal and shallow assumptions would make of Ai. She's much looser, more amoral, far less guilty about her nature.

She also lacks a bunch of Ai's more deeper details. She doesn't like birds, Human Ai probably enjoys softer more relaxing music while her Demon counterpart prefers more bombastic and organ-y music. Her cooking is also spicier than Ai's. ... And probably doesn't dislike Yuri as much as Human Ai would.

Ironically, she might of developed a more extensively separate personality from Ai if Yuri wasn't a cowardly little weasel.

Also, as a note, Noriko is essentially permanently stuck in the mindset of a 16 year old girl. No matter what you do, she isn't going to mature emotionally. She can learn and study and write, but she's still ultimately always going to be working from a stuck frame of a teenage girl.

If she tries to be an adult, she's going to act more in the way she'd an expect an adult woman to be from her teenage view point.

Ultimately, I'm going to have to say that Noriko's situation is essentially because she's cut and paste data in Gren's brain. When Jin and the gang shattered Gren Maju Da Eiza, essentially all the data left in the suit of armor, or rather got back into it. Was. Noriko.

Which brings up an important question. Is Noriko actually Noriko? Or is she Gren thinking she's Noriko?

As far as the contract goes, Noriko's far more benevolent with regards to the Samasus. As Linka noted, Noriko pretty much gives the Samasus extensive free reign unlike the Fiend. In fact unlike the Fiend, she heavily prefers most of the Samasus make their own choices and have their own quirks and personalities.

One could construe Noriko's ultimately doing this as a favor since a lot of important people in her life are Samasus. Shikou is a brother figure to her despite issues. Souha is a very close friend and spouse. Suguru is a friend. Etc.
